Who's Thomas?

In 2019 I felt I had learned all I could about blacksmithing from afar, and I took up a hammer. In 2022 I met Forgemaster Matt Mewburn and asked him if I could dedicate one day a week in his workshop to learning the craft of blacksmithing, he and several skilled smiths and makers have helped me on my journey since then. My most recent training was under Nobuya Sensei in Japan forging a Santoku Chef Knife. In late 2023 I sold my first non-commissioned art piece to a private collector. In 2024 I will use the skills I have learned to create more impactful and technically intriguing work.
